Hello JGW Community,

In this space I would like to thank my Principal Advisory Team. This group of scholar leaders have met to improve the school using their voice. From this group they created or advocated for the following: 

8th grade advocated for new sports uniforms for next year. We were able to secure funding and all our teams will have new uniforms next school year. 

7th Grade have outlined a plan for an intramural flag football league. We have secured the supplies and for this year JGW is offering flag football to 7th and 8th graders a couple times after school in the month of June. 7/8th graders have been signing up at lunch if they want to participate in the after school club. Next year we will open the flag football league to all grades. 

6th grade had created a clean team that will help with the beautification of JGW. Fliers will be going out next week to scholars to gauge interest. 

Thank you to this group of scholars for making JGW better than they found it!!!

The JGW Drama Club Presents: Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical!!

If you buy your tickets before the show, they are $8/student and adults over 65, and $10/general admission for everyone else over the age of three. Tickets will be an extra two dollars per person if you wait to buy at the door.

National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony: Thursday June 8th- 6pm

8th Grade Canobie Lake: Thursday June 15th

JGW Sport Banquet: Thursday June 15th- 6pm

• Sports Banquet invites all scholar athletes that participated on the X-Country Team, Soccer, Cheerleading, Basketball, Volleyball, and Track and Field for a night to celebrate their accomplishments.

JGW Field Day: Tuesday June 20th- During School Day

8th Grade Moving On Ceremony/ Dance: Thursday June 22nd-Ceremony 6pm and Dance 7pm-9pm

Canobie Lake and Sports Banquet: the 8th graders will be returning from Canobie Lake at 5pm. Scholars attending the sports banquet have the option of being picked up to change and come back for the sports banquet. The other option is stay at the school until the banquet at 6pm. We will have staff here at the school waiting for the arrival of the Canobie Lake trip and to supervise until the sports banquet begins.
