Good evening JGW Families,

I hope that you have had a great weekend.  I have only a few quick hits for you tonight.


FUNDRAISERS

  • The PTO JGW spirit wear pop-up store closes down tonight. Please get your orders in and outfit your children (AND YOURSELF!!!) in the coolest JGW swag! Visit the store here - https://www.shopredbrickclothing.com/redbrickclothing/jgwhittierpoets


  • The NJHS Corn Maze at Crescent Farms fundraiser is scheduled for Tuesday night. We ask that as many families that are coming please buy your tickets on Monday so that the organizers can get a good idea of the size of crowd that they can expect.


EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to hire three lunch monitors. This is a part-time position paying $15 per two hours per day (ten hours per week) from 10:30AM - 12:30pm. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for “parent’s hours”. Ideal candidates will have strong senses of teamwork, patience,and safety mindset as well as effective communication abilities (with students and adults). PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

Please check your ParentSquare app and/ or email for messages from your children’s teachers regarding signing up for conferences which are this Thursday 10/22/26 from 6:00PM - 7:30PM.


NEW SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE

On November 5th we will have an information session for the community on the new JGW School Building Project. We will meet in our cafeteria, and more information will be released later this week. But, for now, please save the date!
