Good morning.

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your assistance yesterday.

I am a parent of school age children, and I know the anxiety and fear that many of you felt yesterday during the day.

To our parents and guardians. I commend each and every one of you for being patient during the dismissal process. You were all respectful, waited patiently and helped to insure that all our students remained safe and secure.

The Main office was extremely busy yesterday. We dismissed over 350 students in less than 2 hours. Ms. Anita, Ms. Ali and Mr. Betty  deserve medals for their efforts to dismiss students in a safe, timely manner.

Yesterday could have been very chaotic, frightening and disorganized, but due to the efforts of everyone it was quite the opposite.

School staff, parents and students all stepped up and worked together to insure that the safety and security of our students continues to remain the number one priority.

Again, I am so grateful to everyone for working in the best interests of our most precious commodity, our kids.

I am proud and humbled to be a part of the JG Whittier Community.
