Hello JGW families,
Thank you for a wonderful year! Thank you for being so patient with our office during the many staff changes and COVID challenges we have faced this year. This summer in preparation for the next school year, our nursing office will be going through records to ensure we have updated medication/orders and physicals/immunizations. If you are able to get this paperwork ahead of time, it would be greatly appreciated for the 2022-2023 school year. We are looking forward to next year at JGW!

CLASSROOM NEWS:
GRADE 5:
Ms. Simes:
Wow, what a year! To better state that- what a GREAT year! We have covered a lot of material and participated in many fun and exciting projects in both math and science. |
It is important that all students continue to work on their math skills this summer, as I will be giving them a packet of sixth grade tasks to work on. Additionally, the i-Ready program will be open for them to work on their individualized learning path and as always, they should continue to work on their math facts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. They also can continue to question the phenomena we answered in science and continue to explore our magnificent Earth, knowing that they can “make a difference,” as they shine bright.
Each student has brought such cheerfulness to our classroom. I was so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of children this past year. They all have touched my life and this school year in very positive and rewarding ways. I hope as the years go by that they keep in touch and share their successes, whether it be academic, athletic, or artistic.
“Goodbyes are not forever, not the end; it simply means that I’ll miss you until we meet again.”
All my wishes for a fun filled healthy and safe summer.
