New Staff to JGW: We would like to introduce our new Student Support Coordinator who is replacing Mr. Newall
Hello Whittier Community! My name is Ms. Jacqi Shirey and I will be the new Student Support Coordinator. I am excited to be relocating back to the New England area after having been in the Southwest for many years. I have formerly worked as an At-Risk Coordinator for a school district in Texas and my years of classroom teaching were spent in Special Education (both at the elementary and high school levels) in Boston, the Bronx, and Tucson, AZ. In every role and setting, I strive to create a culture built on relationships and foster resilience in students. Outside of work, I enjoy being active, which often includes chasing around my very busy three year old, Harper, with my husband Jason. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the team and hope to contribute to the shared vision of student success
Have a Wonderful Weekend!!
