Hello JGW Community
We ended this short week with a bang! Our STAR POET SOCIETY brought each grade level together to discuss our core values, play community building games and recognize our SCHOLARS of THE WEEK. We saw a lot of GREEN and WHITE and Poet SWAG at school today.

Ski club enrollment forms and payment are due back no later than November 23rd. Please use the attached link to access the forms or see the main office. Completed forms and payment can also be returned to the office.

Model UN TEAM: The Model UN team is back at JGW!!!! If you would like to have your scholar join we have a meeting every Monday after school in Ms. Frankoff’s room (room 4). Ms. Frankoff will be our advisor to the team. If you have any questions please feel free to to email her at alyssa.farnkoff@haverhill-ps.org
Basketball Tryouts Grades 6-8

Our team is made of grades 6-8. These are some of the more competitive teams to make. Currently we have 60 plus boys signed up for tryouts with approximately 15 spots. In February and March for 5th grade and any scholar that does not make the team we will have intramural basketball at JGW after school. More to come.
JGW 4th ANNUAL THANKSGIVING FEAST
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 16th. 5:30-7 PM
A tradition at JGW is back!! We will have our community Thanksgiving dinner here at JGW and we are inviting you, your scholar, and your family. On Wednesday November 16th please come for a night of food, games, music, and crafts. This is a wonderful event to bring our community closer together. - Daily Challenge: Think of something you did WELL this week, and give yourself a pat on the back!
Pep Rally: On the half day before the Thanksgiving break we will be having a pep rally. In the new JGW pep rally 5th grade competes against 6th and the 7th grade will face off against the 8th grade. We will have musical chairs, a math relay race, and other games.
LEAD TEAM FALL HARVEST DANCE: Save the date Wednesday November 30th
7/8th grade dance more information to come. Time 5pm-6:30pm.
