Hello JGW Community

The staff at Whittier wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and we hope you spend time with loved ones over the break. We had a short but exciting week at JGW. First basketball game on Tuesday, all scholars received a gratitude card from a staff member, and we had a Pep Rally on Wednesday. Enjoy the time off and we will see your scholar on the 28th.

JGW PTO Holiday Fair: December 10th 10am-1pm.

Model UN TEAM: The Model UN team is back at JGW!!!! If you would like to have your scholar join we have a meeting every Monday after school in Ms. Frankoff’s room (room 4). Ms. Frankoff will be our advisor to the team. If you have any questions please feel free to to email her at alyssa.farnkoff@haverhill-ps.org 

LEAD TEAM FALL HARVEST DANCE: 

Save the date Wednesday November 30th 

7/8th grade dance 

Tickets are $5.00 and must be purchased Monday or Tuesday at lunch.

Time 5pm-6:30pm

All proceeds go to the Haverhill Gazette Santa Fund to help those in need during the Holiday season.

It will be a Blackout dance, so get ready for some glow action, dancing and fun.  Tickets are $5 and will be sold at lunch next Monday and Tuesday.  Pizza and snacks will be available for purchase. 

JGW CHORUS NEWS

The JGW Bowl-a-Thon is Sunday, December 11th @ 12noon at Academy Lanes in Bradford. 

The JGW Chorus also has a concert on Friday, December 16th at 5pm in the Cafe.
