Hello JGW Community

First week back after the Thanksgiving break and the school settled into routines of learning quickly. I want to give a shout out to our LEAD TEAM members for planning the 7/8th grade BLACKOUT dance. Our scholars that attended this event showed our core values and was a positive event that was another way we connect our kids to the school. Great job 7 and 8th grade!!!! 

Report Cards: Trimester 1 report cards will be available through parent portal on School Brains Wednesday December 7th

JGW PTO Holiday Fair: December 10th 10am-1pm see attached flier. 

Come on down to JGW on Saturday December 10th from 10am- 1pm. We will have local vendors selling their goods. We will also have our National Junior Honor Society wrapping gifts, and some raffle prizes. Come on down to support our PTO!!!

JGW CHORUS NEWS

The JGW Bowl-a-Thon is Sunday, December 11th @ 12noon at Academy Lanes in Bradford. 

The JGW Chorus also has a concert on Friday, December 16th at 5pm in the Cafe. 

Tickets to all events are available at JGWDrama.com. 

Ticket are also now being sold in the cafeteria during lunch.

Spirit Week: December 19-23rd

School Site Council: I would like to express thanks to our Site Council for helping the JGW in front of the school committee on November 17th to advocate for finding a solution to get more space on campus. We love our building but we are out growing it and a new building is years away. So we want to try to be creative in expanding space on campus. We do have meetings and walk through with school committee members and city council to discuss the space at JGW. We will keep you updated in the memo if we get any news.
