Spelling BEE: school-wide spelling bee will be on Fri, Jan 20, in the gym at 9:30am. 2 families members can attend if you would like to watch the event.
Drama Club Movie Night: Join The JGW Drama Club and Mr. G at 5:30pm on Friday, January 20th for a FREE showing of Matilda the Músical in the Cafeteria!! There will be snacks, drinks, and baked goods for sale as well. Again, the event will start at 5:30pm.
Volleyball Clinic: Haverhill High School will be hosting a volleyball clinic over February vacation! This clinic is open to boys and girls grades 6-8. The clinic will focus on basic skills (passing, serving, and hitting) along with teaching some of the high energy games like drills HHS volleyball uses to prepare athletes for competition. Cost is $100. If you have questions, or would like a sign up sheet, please see or email Mr. Harris in Room 18

Dear Parents and Guardians of JGW 6th Grade Students:
The JGW Counseling Team wants to share that we are preparing to begin our mental health screening in grade 6. Our first round of screening is tentatively scheduled to begin in February. You can learn more about Haverhill’s School-Wide Mental Health Screening at this link Mental Health Screening FAQs. Screening provides the counseling team information that allows us to best provide comprehensive and timely support for your son and daughter if they require assistance. After completing the screening, school counseling staff may reach out to you to discuss next steps and recommendations if applicable.
