  • Make sure their chromebook is charged.
  • Talk about the test in a positive way.
  • See that your child arrives at school on time and is relaxed.
  • Encourage your child to do the best work possible and to have a positive attitude.

Get some rest over the weekend, charge your chromebooks and believe in your own abilities- you’ve got this POETS!

Tardy to School: Our goal at JGW is to maximize the time we have with every student, every day! For students who struggle to be on time to school, we will be having attendance meetings during their lunch period.  If a student is late 3 or more days in a 5-day school week, a parent notification will be sent home and they (the scholar) will be required to attend a lunch meeting. Ongoing tardiness may require further administrative intervention. Thank you for your support in ensuring all our scholars arrive on time and ready to learn. As a reminder, our school day begins at 8:30am.

JGW Newspaper: Would you like to join the school newspaper! The club will be held after school every Monday starting this coming Monday April 3rd. The club will be starting at 3pm and ending 3:45pm. You can write about sports, drama club, discovery club, and more! The club will meet in room 10 and Ms. Hogan will lead the group.

JGW DRAMA Club: The JGW Drama Club is raffling off tickets for a calendar fundraiser in the month of April!! WHAV reported in their community spotlight this morning that the drama club is selling raffle tickets and offering daily winning prizes including gift cards to be used at local restaurants and local and national retailers, music lessons, lottery tickets and Matilda swag such as a tote bag, mug, poster and clothing. Visit JGWDrama.com or see Mr. G for more info!

Have a great weekend!!
