HPS Middle School Field Hockey Interest Survey

HPS Field Hockey Interest Survey

We are starting a middle school field hockey program in Haverhill, building off of the clinics and City Recreation Department programs over the past several years. The Recreation department will continue to host clinics and programs as well.

Format: If we have enough interest, we would ideally have a team from each middle school (grades 5-8). A practice or two and a game each week for approximately 6 weeks. Games would be in-town and possibly with nearby towns as available. Depending on interest, we might consider combining middle schools.  We’re looking to gauge interest this spring to help plan for this fall.

Please answer the following questions to support our planning. This is not committing your student to playing.

Responses will be collected May 26

As the end of the year approaches, we have a variety of exciting events planned for our scholars both on and off campus.  These include, but are not limited to:  field day, dances, and/or field trips.

In order to participate in end of year events students must follow our STAR values and the rules and regulations outlined in the HPS Student Handbook during the school day.  This also includes appropriate use of technology and communication apps.

Beginning on May 1, 2023 and going through the last day of school, June 23, 2023, any student who receives two (2) or more office detentions or is suspended, will NOT be allowed to participate in any end-of-year activities or events.  Students may also be removed from individual or multiple end-of-year events at the discretion of the school administration.
