PTO Apparel Fundraiser:

JG Whittier has teamed up with Red Brick Clothing Company to raise some funds for the PTO while showing your school pride. The PTO will receive 10% of all sales. The online store will open Thursday, Sept. 7th and close Sunday, September 17th

8th Grade Washington DC Meeting: On Tuesday September 12th, 6pm in the JGW cafeteria there is a mandatory meeting for all 8th grade scholars and their guardians. This meeting will give you information about the trip such as dates, cost, and fundraising opportunities. If you can not make this meeting please email Lauren Mackinnon at lmackinnon@haverhill-ps.org she will be the JGW point person.

Attendance Awareness Breakfast Contest is on!   The homeroom with the best attendance for the month of September will be honored with breakfast at school to thank them for making getting to school a priority in their home.

Welcome Parents to the 2023 – 2024 School Year!

For the Math department, we are excited to say Eureka Math²® is your student’s revolutionary new math resource. It’s learning design allows your student to build a deep conceptual understanding of mathematics that will better prepare them for college, career, and beyond. Learn more about the Great Minds® approach to mathematics instruction.

Great Minds honors and celebrates the role caregivers play in each student achieving greatness. Thank you for your partnership. Discovery Club:

Discovery Club has no cost before & after school programs at Bradford, Golden Hill, Pentucket Lake, Silver Hill, & Tilton Elementary Schools, and Consentino, J.G. Whittier and Nettle Middle Schools. All of these sites offer one hour of before school care, Monday through Friday. After school, programs for these grades meet for two hours Monday through Thursday. Transportation home is provided after school. Elementary sites also offer programming on Fridays after school; however, transportation home is not available on Fridays.

Morning Basketball: Morning Open Gym Basketball will begin next week. Open gym is on Wednesday and Friday mornings starting at 7:40 am the JGW gym. You will need your own transportation. If you have any question please email Ms. Hamel mariclare.hamel@haverhill-ps.org

Boys Practice Monday after school.

Girls Practice Tuesday after school.
