8th Grade Moving-on/Dance: Tuesday 6/11*
Last Day: Wednesday 6/12 (Half Day)*
* the dates could change if we have more snow days.
Moving-on Dance Team (PTO): We need a team of families to help plan the 8th grade dance after the Moving-On ceremony. The group of parents work with our PTO to plan the dance for our scholars. We need volunteers for this team. The next PTO meeting will be March 13th at 6pm if you like to attend to start the planning process. March is a great time. If you want to be part of the team and can not make the 13th please email me your name and I will get it to the PTO.
JGW Basketball March Madness: This is our annual basketball tournament for any scholar that wants to play, it also serves as a fundraiser for our PTO. If someone is interested in playing in our MARCH MADNESS tournament to be held at the end of March- please see Mrs. Hamel for a sign up sheet or sign up in the cafeteria during lunch.
Teams must have 5 players/ teams can be made up of any five students from any grade. Sign ups are $2.00 per player/ $10.00 per team- money is due the week before the tournament. Last year the North Carolina Tar Heels team won the tournament~ let’s see who’s the team to beat this year!

- 7/8th Grade ELA: Thursday April 4 and April 5
- 5/6th Grade Math: Monday May 6 and Tuesday May 7
- 7/8th Grade Math: Wednesday May 8 and Thursday May 9
- 5/8th Grade Sci: Monday May 13 and Tuesday May 14
- 8th Grade Civics: Tuesday May 21 and Wednesday May 29
