Hello JGW Families,

FUNDRAISER Cookie Dough: Pick up for all butter braids and cookie dough orders are at Monday March 25- 6pm in the front lobby.  They need to be stored in a freezer, and we don’t have the room to store them. If you have any questions email Ms. MacKinnion at lmackinnon@haverhill-ps.org

Report cards: Report Card go home: Monday March 25th

JGW Talent Show: The 6th Annual Talent Show is THURSDAY, March 28th at 4:30pm in the Cafeteria. Tickets are $5 ahead of time or $10 at the door. The talent show is a fundraiser for the drama club!

Friday March 29th: No School- Good Friday

Spirit Week:

  1. Monday April 8th- Dress like a Disney Character
  2. Tuesday April 9th- Sports Day- Support your favorite team
  3. Wednesday April 10th- 80’s and 90’s Day: Grab some old clothing
  4. Thursday April 11th- Student dress like a teacher- Teachers dress like students
  5. Friday April 12th- Green/White or Poet Gear
  6. Friday April 12th- Pep Rally

Raffle Teacher Appreciation Week: The PTO is looking for gift cards for our teacher appreciation week raffle. If you would like to drop one off to the office that would be great. Teacher appreciation is in May.

JGW Basketball March Madness: We did not get the sign ups we needed to run a tournament. Ms. Hamel is going to regroup and will have some sort of basketball related activity after school this spring. More information to come.

End of year events:

  1. Open House for Penn Lake Students: Tuesday May 7th
  2. PTO FUN RUN: May 17th- more information to come
  3. NJHS Ceremony: Wednesday May 22; 6pm
  4. Sports Banquet: Wednesday May 29; 6pm
  5. 8th Grade Washington DC: June 3rd-6th
  6. Field Day: Tentatively Friday 6/7 (during school day)
  7. 8th Grade Canobie Lake: Monday June 10
  8. 8th Grade Moving-on/Dance: Tuesday 6/11*
    1. 6pm Moving-On Ceremony
    2. 7pm-9pm Dance
  9. Last Day:  Wednesday 6/12 (Half Day)*
