8th Grade Washington DC: any students who are attending the field trip to DC who have medical needs while on the trip or require daily medications while on the trip to please reach out to nursing as soon as possible. COVID: I wanted to share the update with everyone that the school district has adopted the new CDC recommendations on managing COVID in schools. We are now treating COVID like any other respiratory illness. Students and staff may return to school once symptoms are improving AND are fever free for 24 hours without the use of antipyretics (fever reducing medications such as Tylenol or Ibuprofen). Students and staff are encouraged to mask for 5 days upon return however it is not required. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out at angela.platt@haverhill-ps.org
End of Year Events: As we come to the end of the year we have events such as field day, field trips and 8th activities that scholars participate in. If a scholar is struggling and is earning multiple detentions or a suspension. Administration will review to see if the scholar may participate in the activity. Our goal is for ALL scholars to be included in special events but we want to ensure safety and that all scholars follow direction at special events.
PTO Fun Run May 17th: On Friday May 17th our PTO will sponsor a FUN RUN after school on Friday May 17th from 3pm-4:30pm. We ask all participants to ask for a pledge to raise money for our PTO. Information was sent home in backpacks.

8th Grade: Canobie Lake: May 1st– form and money due. We can not take late money because we have to pay Canobie Lake in advance. Thank you.
